Cadence Hydration became an essential tool for me for recovery after heavy training days and long work shifts. I strength train and run at least 10 hours a week, work at least 40 hours a week on my business, and work 35+ hours on my feet as a server. When I would finally lay down to rest and sleep, I would immediately start cramping.
WHO Cadence Hydration Is For
If you’re on your feet a lot and training hard, your body releases water and important minerals. That’s the gap Cadence Hydration fills. It’s for people putting real physical demand on their bodies day after day, not just during gym time. This isn’t a “just in case” product. It is a tool that targets heavy mineral losses, and it is worth investing in if you are dealing with this problem.

WHAT Is Cadence Hydration
Cadence’s RTD Electrolyte Drink is a zero-sugar, zero-caffeine can loaded with sodium, potassium, and magnesium. The three electrolytes your body actually burns through when you’re sweating constantly. No stimulants, no sugar crash. It simply delivers the raw electrolytes your muscles need to recover after heavy fluid loss.
It comes in a 12-pack of 355ml cans (I use the citrus flavor). Cadence also makes a sachet version-powder packets you mix into water, but the can is the one I actually reach for.

WHERE To Get Cadence Hydration
Grab the RTD Electrolyte Drink here. It’s the one I actually use: AMAZON
If you want something more travel-friendly, Cadence also makes a sachet variety pack you mix into water: AMAZON
And if your hydration habit needs a bigger foundation piece, this is the jug I fill up twice a day. It’s what tells me when I’m actually behind on water versus just needing a Cadence can as backup: AMAZON

WHEN To Use Cadence Hydration
I don’t drink this every day. Only after a real sweat session. My rule of thumb is simple: if my shirt is soaked through after a workout, or if a run goes past 4 miles, I drink a can.
The other trigger is my hydro jug. I fill it up twice a day, and if I don’t finish it by the end of the day, that’s my sign I’m behind on water. So I’ll drink a Cadence can to make up the gap instead of just chugging plain water and hoping it’s enough.
It’s not a “drink it and forget it” product. It’s tied to an actual signal from your body or your habits, not a schedule.

WHY Does Cadence Hydration Matter
Muscle cramping is a direct signal that your body is drained. For me, standing for an eight-hour shift and running miles afterward drained more minerals than plain tap water could replenish. Water alone was simply not cutting it; concentrated electrolytes did.
Once I started drinking Cadence after heavy sweat sessions, the cramping slowly went away day by day. I won’t call it a guarantee. Cramping also ties to nutrition, hydration, and sleep. But when work and training were outpacing my hydration, Cadence Hydration closed that gap for me. Recovery got easier, and I started sleeping better on the nights I used it.
If your job is physical on top of training, don’t wait until you’re cramping at 2 am to realize water alone isn’t cutting it.

Final Word
I got the chance to meet Cadence’s founder, Ross Mackay, at an event in LA this September. I asked him what advice he’d give someone just starting to build daily discipline. Here’s what he said:
“Yeah, that’s a good question. I think you know daily discipline doesn’t mean maximalism. It means just taking one step forward every single day. Sometimes take a step back, right, left, forward, but you’re always moving, always showing up. You’re gonna progress in life; don’t get caught up in other people; focus on yourself, focus on your own rhythm. That’s why the rhythm of daily discipline exists. Everyone has their own rhythm in life. So fall in love with the process; find the discipline. Discipline will always outweigh motivation, right? So fall in love with the process and find your own discipline.”
That’s the whole point of a habit like this. It’s not a dramatic fix. It’s one small, repeatable thing that adds up. Drink the water. Replace what you sweat out. Show up tomorrow and do it again.
